Berlin based Amnon David Ar (born in 1973) is an Israeli painter. Ar attended the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and studied anatomy for the arts with painter Oswald Adler and painting with Abraham Bykov.

In his works, Ar explores freedom of expression in color and composition, typically reflecting daily situations. Ar’s contemporary figurative paintings expresses emotion, atmosphere and the perceived psychological interpretation. Ar’s works were exhibited in Museums and public spaces as well as galleries in Israel, Berlin, Amsterdam, NY and London.
